What the hotel says

The Gold Suite page reads: more privacy, more space, more comfort, in an 825-square-foot corner suite designed for a VIP experience. Its photo captions list a bedroom, a seating area, a bar area, a bathroom with a freestanding tub and shower, and a living area. The hotel's event booking page mentions bridal preparation spaces and VIP upgrades for wedding groups, and lists the Gold Suite among the rooms available to them.

Not published: bed size (the Silver Suite page names a king-size bed; the Gold Suite page does not), maximum occupancy, floor or view. We will not fill those in for you; the desk will ask.

Occasions it fits

A milestone show. A fortieth birthday built around a band you saw at twenty. An anniversary with a dinner booked at Council Oak and seats for the late show.

Wedding mornings. The hotel hosts weddings in its event spaces and mentions bridal prep spaces for groups. A corner suite with a living area is the natural place for hair, make-up and photos — but remember the property rule: everyone on site must be 19 or older, flower girls and ring bearers included.

A small group that wants one base. If you are taking several rooms for friends, one suite as the meeting point keeps the evening together. Ask the desk to request the rooms as a block.

Practical notes

  • The Surprise & Delight pre-order (treats such as wine and bonbons ready on arrival) is the hotel's own way to set up a celebration.
  • Council Oak Private Dining is listed for 16 to 22 guests if the occasion needs a table as well as a room.
  • Check-in and check-out times are not published. For a wedding morning, an early check-in the day before is worth asking about.
  • Valet is 24/7. For a group arriving in several cars, read the parking page first.

Compare it with the Silver Suite or go back to the rooms overview. To ask for it, choose “Gold Suite” in the form below and describe the occasion in the notes.
