How to get there

The hotel is in Ottawa's rural south end, close to the airport and far from downtown. Each route below has a real Google Maps link that opens directions to the hotel's own map card.

The address

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, 4837 Albion Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1X 1A3. Google Maps writes the same address as 4837 Albion Rd S, Gloucester — Gloucester being the former township, now part of the City of Ottawa. Hotel phone: 1-613-822-8668.

9.4 kmto YOW, ~12 min
19.7 kmto Parliament Hill, ~24 min
4.5 kmto Leitrim Station, ~7 min
22.6 kmfrom the train station, ~24 min

Distances and times are road routes we computed with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data on 29 October 2026. They assume no traffic and no waiting, so treat them as minimums. The hotel itself publishes no distances.

1 · From the airport (YOW) by car or taxi

The quickest way. Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport is north-west of the hotel; our road route measures about 9.4 km and twelve minutes without traffic. The hotel does not publish taxi or rideshare fares, and we do not guess them. If you rent a car at the airport, valet and EV charging are covered on the parking page.

2 · From the airport by O-Train and hotel shuttle

O-Train Line 4 runs from Airport station to South Keys, stopping at Uplands; at South Keys you change to Line 2, which runs south through Leitrim. Line 4 opened and Line 2 reopened on 6 January 2025; OC Transpo gives the Airport–South Keys trip as about seven minutes, every twelve minutes. From Leitrim, the hotel shuttle leaves at half past the hour from 7:30 AM to 12:30 AM, skipping 11:30 AM, 5:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Between 1:30 and 3:30 AM the shuttle runs from Uplands Station instead. The fare is $5 one way, $3.50 with Unity, card or tap only.

Google's transit planner does not know about the hotel shuttle, so the link below may suggest a city bus or a walk for the last stretch. Use it for the train part and take the shuttle from Leitrim.

3 · From downtown Ottawa by car

From Parliament Hill the road route is about 19.7 km and 24 minutes without traffic; from the ByWard Market about 20.4 km and 26 minutes. At weekday rush hour, allow considerably more.

4 · From downtown Ottawa by O-Train

Line 1, the Confederation Line, runs east–west through downtown between Tunney's Pasture and Blair. Line 2 begins at Bayview, where it meets Line 1, and runs south through South Keys to Leitrim. From Leitrim take the hotel shuttle. Check the gaps above before a show: there is no 5:30 PM departure from Leitrim, which is the one most likely to catch you on the way in for dinner.

5 · From Ottawa's train station

Ottawa's train station is on Tremblay Road, east of downtown. By road to the hotel it is about 22.6 km and 24 minutes without traffic. There is no direct rail or shuttle link between the two.
