How old do you have to be to stay at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa?

19. The hotel says guests must be 19 or older to stay, and the property applies the same rule to the casino, restaurants and Hard Rock LIVE. Anyone who looks under age may be asked for two pieces of ID.

How many rooms does the hotel have?

150 guest rooms, including 22 suites, in four published categories: Deluxe King, Deluxe Queen, Silver Suite and Gold Suite.

When did the hotel open?

Hard Rock announced the official opening on 3 July 2025.

Is there a pool or a spa?

Neither appears on the hotel's pages. The property has Body Rock, a 24-hour gym for hotel guests.

What time is check-in and check-out?

The hotel does not publish either time. Ask the desk when you request a room and we will ask the hotel.

How far is it from downtown Ottawa?

About 19.7 km by road from Parliament Hill, roughly 24 minutes without traffic by our route check. Allow much longer at rush hour.

How do I get there from the airport?

By car or taxi it is about 9.4 km. Without a car, take O-Train Line 4 to South Keys, Line 2 to Leitrim and the hotel shuttle. All routes, or open directions in Google Maps.

Is there a shuttle?

Yes, between the hotel and Leitrim Station from early morning to 12:30 AM, and Uplands Station overnight. $5 one way, $3.50 with Unity, card or tap only. There is no service 11–11:59 AM, 5–5:59 PM and 10–10:59 PM.

How much is parking?

Valet costs $20.00 per car for non-members, less for Unity tiers, and runs 24/7. Self-parking terms are not published.

Can I charge an electric car?

There are two EV charging stations: one in front of the hotel and one in the VIP lot.

Are pets allowed?

The hotel says service animals are exempt from pet fees with valid certification. It does not publish other pet terms or fees, so ask before booking.

Do I need a ticket to see live music?

For Hard Rock LIVE, yes. The Council Oak Lounge and Hard Rock Cafe stages list free admission on Friday and Saturday nights.

Where can I eat after a late show?

YOUYU serves until 1 AM every night, Hard Rock Cafe has an after-hours menu until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, and Constant Grind is open 24/7.

Can children attend a wedding held there?

No. The property is 19+ throughout, which includes event spaces.

Is this the hotel's official website?

No. Albion Road Nights is an independent guide with a room request desk. The official site is casino.hardrock.com/ottawa.

Does sending a request book a room?

No. The desk checks availability and rates and replies by email. Nothing is booked and no card is taken until you confirm.
