How this site earns

The arrangement

This site exists to collect room requests for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa. When you send one, our desk checks availability and the current rate with the hotel's reservations team or with a booking partner that sells the hotel's rooms. If you then confirm and stay, the hotel or that partner pays us a commission. If you do not book, nobody pays anybody.

What it does not change

• Your price. The commission comes out of the hotel's or partner's side. You pay the rate you are quoted, the same as you would pay them directly.
• What we write. No hotel, casino or partner reviews or approves our pages. The weaknesses on our verdict page are there because they are true.
• The casino. We are not paid for anything that happens on the casino floor, and we do not promote it.
• Tickets. We do not sell concert tickets or earn anything from them.

What we never do

We never ask for card details on this site, never take a deposit, and never claim a room is booked when it is not. If a booking needs payment, you pay the hotel or the booking partner directly, on their own secure pages, under their own terms.

Who is behind the site

The footer of every page states who registers the domain and where the site is hosted. No advertiser buys space on these pages and no name on them belongs to a paid sponsor. More on about us.
