About this guide

What we do

We write about one property, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, from one angle: the guest who comes for a show and stays the night. We run a request desk that checks room availability for readers and is paid a commission when a request becomes a stay.

How we check facts

• Our first source is the hotel's own site. Operator announcements, the regulator and city or tourism pages come next.
• Wikipedia and press reports are used as secondary sources and labelled as such.
• Distances come from route calculations on OpenStreetMap data and are labelled as estimates without traffic.
• Every page lists its sources and the dates we read them, 23–29 October 2026 for this edition.
• Where the hotel publishes nothing, we write that it publishes nothing. We do not fill gaps from memory.

What we will not print

Invented reviews, invented guests or quotes, prices we have not seen with a date, and anything that reads as an invitation to gamble. Pictures on this site are illustrations made for it, not photographs of the hotel, and each one says so.

Independence

This is not the hotel's official website. It is not run, endorsed or paid for by Hard Rock International, HR Ottawa, L.P., Rideau Carleton Raceway Holdings or the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. The footer of every page says who registers the domain and where the site is hosted.

Corrections

Hotels change hours, shows move and pages get rewritten. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected] with the page and what changed. We fix confirmed errors and update the date in the footer. See also contact.
