VR Kayaking: Mirage is a breathtaking journey but well worth the risk
Kayaking can be great fun. Tourists can see some of the most beautiful places in the world with kayak tours. It can also be a great exercise. Rowing is, apparently, one of the best forms of cardio there is. However, not everyone has the time or money to physically kayak.
‘Kayak VR: Mirage’ offers a virtual solution. It offers gamers the ability to kayak in their living room, office, or anywhere! Of course, none of this is actually real, but it’s about as close as anyone can get without taking a kayak out on the water.

‘Kayak VR: Mirage’ provides players with beautiful kayaking locations. There are peaceful waters of tranquility for those who just want to enjoy the peace, quiet and natural beauty of being on the water. For speed freaks and racing monkeys, there’s a “time attack” mode with time checkpoints where speed is everything.
According to the developers, they used a 100% physics-based kayak to create as realistic an experience as possible. However, there is a “comfort” setting for players who cannot handle movement. Seasickness, they say, is the worst kind, and no one likes the feeling of stomach-churning nausea…
The game’s graphics “push the limits of what VR games are capable of”, making the experience as realistic as possible without melting players’ hardware! In addition to epic locations, “Kayak VR: Mirage” includes matching background music to complement every player’s experience with the perfect mood.
“Kayak VR: Mirage” is developed by “Better Than Life” and will be released on Steam on April 25, 2022.
