Head-butt surfer breaks two front teeth …

Just eight days after a freediver filmed a fifteen-foot tall white man swimming towards him off the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, a surfer was reportedly hit by a white man while surfing Banyans, one of the most popular breaks in the Kailua-Kona area.

Details are scarce at this time, but we’re told the surfer identified the shark as a great white and said he came towards it with his mouth open and hit him so hard on the head that he broke two teeth.

Le Blanc coached the surfer and for some reason let him go.

Another surfer rowed the man inside.

He would be “deeply traumatized”.

Although the Great Whites in Hawaii are quite rare, most of the time its Tigers doing the damage (see: Bethany Hamilton), free diver Deron Verbeck had a pretty savage vision of a fifteen foot white man swimming towards him at a a hundred feet lower while leaving Kona on November 26th.

“It just got bigger and bigger and I was like ‘this is for sure a 100% Great White,” Verbeck told KHON2.

In an article published by the IG, Marine Conservation Science Institute President Michael Domeier said that “this beautiful female is from the Central California Tribe or Pt. Conception Tribe” of Great Whites, adding, “This shark was spotted literally right outside my house! This is the thing that makes me get out of bed in the morning with a smile!

More on the attack as you go, etc.
