MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – Thinking of catching some waves on Monday? Here is an update on the surf conditions of Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.

Experience some fun surfing this morning with a mix of SSW / S and WNW / NW swells. The best exposures are in the high waist and chest area, hitting the head high on the larger sets at high points, according to Surfline.

Winds are calm to very light and variable for clean surface conditions. The shape is a bit oily because of the relatively high tide on its way to a minimum of 10h50 of 0.3 ‘.

For the remainder of the day, the winds will remain light until mid-morning, allowing the shape to improve a bit with the ebb tide.

In the early afternoon the offshore wind will pick up from the W / WSW for bumpy waves, although it should remain manageable as the tide pushes back to 6.15pm from a 3.8 ‘high.

Head to surfline for further updates.
